State School Substitute Teacher
The Unified School District #2 of the Department of Children and Families has an immediate employment opportunity for one per diem, 12 month State School Substitute Teacher position. This position is primarily located at the South Campus of the Albert J. Solnit Children's Psychiatric Center in Middletown, CT, but will also provide coverage on the North Campus in East Windsor, CT. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree. Certification in special education preferred. Experience in an educational program within a residential treatment facility and experience with a culturally diverse student population preferred. Responsibilities include conducting lessons and other classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
