The Department of Children and Families is currently recruiting for (2) State School Substitute Teacher positions at our Connecticut Children's Place facility, East Windsor, CT.  PURPOSE OF CLASS: In a State institution, substitutes on a daily basis for a regular, fulltime faculty member who is unable to perform his/her duties due to sick, personal or professional leave. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Conducts lessons and other classroom activities as designed by the permanent teacher. Performs related duties as required. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor's degree. Preference will be given to candidates with previous work experience with children in a school setting and/or who have prior work related experience with special education students.
