Release Time for Union Voting
||Except as noted below, employees that are eligible to vote in
a specific bargaining unit election will be granted reasonable time off with pay to vote
essential services are maintained
there is no disruption of the operational activities of the Department.
||In some areas of the Department, it may not be possible to
grant time off due to patient/client care needs or other twenty-four hour services where
continuous coverage must be maintained.
In these instances, employees must vote on off
duty time, and no equivalent time off with pay will be given at a later date.
