Selecting Foster Care Settings
| Treatment Worker Role |
Matching a child with the appropriate foster home and
supporting the foster parent and the child through the placement requires clear
communication and a coordinated team effort between the treatment worker and the Foster
and Adoption Service Unit staff (FASU). When requesting a placement, the Social Worker
shall provide as much information as possible about the child's situation and needs to the
FASU Matcher.
