Interstate Compacts

Interstate Compacts Office Responsibilities The Interstate Compacts Office oversees all Interstate Compacts including the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children. The Compact is a statutory agreement between all the states regarding the procedures and requirements for placing a child from one state into another, including placement for the purposes of adoption.
