Adoption Placement Process
| Introduction | This section describes the necessary steps for affecting a child's placement into an adoptive family. |
| Planning the Placement | Planning the placement of the child for adoption and helping
him/her move into the new relationship is the culmination of: •work with the birth parents, with the child and his/her foster parents, and consultation with particular experts •decisions within the Department •completion of legal requirements, and •work with the adoptive parent. |
