child was initially Title IV-E ineligible, the child is not and never will
be Title IV-E eligible for the Adoption Assistance Program unless the
child is eligible for SSI at the time the adoption is initiated. (This
does not affect the child's eligibility for subsidy under the state
program.)
Any child found to be Title IV-E eligible for either the foster care
maintenance payment or the Adoption Assistance Program is eligible for
benefits under the Title XIX Medical Assistance Program. |
