Transmitting a Report for an Investigation

Transmitting Accepted Reports to the Regional Office

The Hotline supervisor shall immediately transmit all approved reports received at Hotline during either regular hours or after-hours to the designated regional office investigation supervisor.

If the response time necessitates an after-hours investigation, the Hotline supervisor will assign the investigation to a Hotline investigator.

Note: Those reports which require a two (2) hour response and which are transmitted to the regional office at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the close of a regular work day shall be assigned to a regional office investigator for immediate investigation.

The Hotline Supervisor shall call the regional investigation supervisor to notify him/her that such a report is being transmitted.
