Policy

Reports of abuse, neglect, or in danger of abuse in which a Department employee is the alleged perpetrator, as described below, shall be forwarded by the Hotline to the Special Review Unit for assignment to an investigator in the regional office or in the Special Review Unit.

These types of situations involve the Department employee and

• his/her own children

or

• a child receiving services from the Department, including clients residing in a Department operated facility.
