Return of Service
| Procedures |
The
court petitions contain a return of service section. These procedures
shall be followed when arranging and recording service of process
activities:
-
make sure
the return of service section is on the original or copies to be provided
to the Judicial Marshal for service
-
if there
is only one child and only one Judicial Marshal is being used, then one
return of service section is sufficient for all parties
-
if one
child and two Judicial Marshals are used, then each Judicial Marshal gets
a return of service section
-
if two
children and one Judicial Marshal, then two return of service sections are
attached to the original
-
the end
result is that each Judicial Marshal has a return of service section for
each child whose parent he/she is serving
- the
Service of Process Coordinator does not have to write anything in the
return of service section.
