Appeal of Hearing Decisions

Policy A request for a review of any final decision shall be made by appeal to the Superior Court pursuant to CONN. GEN. STAT. §4-183.
Applicant's or Licensee's Right to Appeal The applicant or licensee has the right to appeal to Superior Court within forty-five (45) days from the date of the hearing decision, and must notify the Department within thirty (30) days of the hearing decision.
Transcript of Hearing Upon notice from the Superior Court of an appeal, the Administrative Hearings Unit shall provide a copy of the transcript of the hearing to

•the Office of the Attorney General, and

•the appellant's attorney

Transcripts for appeals shall be provided without charge.

Any request for a transcript of the hearing for reason other than appeal shall be provided at the expense of the requesting party.
