Removal Hearings

Pre-hearing Conference for Removal Hearing

Policy

The hearing officer may involve the parties and their representatives in a pre-hearing conference preceding the removal hearing for the purpose of

· simplification and consolidation of issues;

· identification and limitation of the number of witnesses; or

· considering any other matters that will promote the quality of the proceedings.
Record of Conference

The hearing officer shall identify and recite on the removal hearing record any agreements made, or actions taken, by the parties at the conference.
