Reports of Abuse/Neglect Concerning Homes and Centers Regulated By Other State
Agencies
| Policy |
A report of suspected abuse, neglect or in danger of abuse
concerning a child in a home or center caring for clients under the age of eighteen and
regulated by another state agency; e.g., a family day care home, group day care or day
care center, shall be investigated in accordance with established investigation
procedures. |
| Additional Procedures |
The assigned investigator shall follow the same procedures as
described in "Reports of Abuse/Neglect Concerning Private Facilities and
Agencies," 34-12-9.2, but will coordinate the
investigation with the other state agency’s Director of Licensing or equivalent
administrator consistent with any existing written agreements between the Department and
the other state agency. |
