Reports Received on an Open Voluntary Services Case

Policy Any report received on an open case receiving voluntary services shall be assigned to an investigator.

Definition An open case receiving voluntary services is a family that is receiving voluntary services through DCF.
Case Disposition A meeting of the investigation and voluntary service workers and their supervisors shall be held at the conclusion of the investigation to discuss the case disposition and appropriate program category for continued services.

If there are any disagreements among the involved staff, a conference shall be held with the Social Workers and their supervisors. Any unresolved disagreements shall be brought to the attention of a Program Supervisor or Program Director, if necessary, to make a management decision.
